Modern, Efficient, Local – A new contract between Scotland’s NHS and the public, Scotland’s NHS is in a permanent crisis.
Despite the best efforts of hardworking staff, one in seven Scots – over 800,000 people – are on an NHS waiting list. While performance in A&E, cancer, mental health and delayed discharge have all hit record lows in recent years.
Yet the SNP Government offer no vision to turn around the NHS’s fortunes. And more NHS staff are now leaving the service than joining it.
We need urgent action to save our NHS. The Scottish Conservatives have a plan to deliver a modern, efficient, local NHS. Where new technology is used properly to improve patient care and everyone can get medical care in their local area.
